About The Band
Sheree is the lead vocalist and bandleader of Sophisticated Soul. She has traveled all over the United States and performed alongside Montel Jordan, Donell Jones and Christopher Williams. She sang with platinum recording artist Monica for the 2012 BET Awards tribute to Whitney Houston. She toured as co-lead vocalsit of the band Klymaxx featuring Cheryl Cooley and as lead singer for Rose Royce featuring Lequint “Duke” Jobe. Sheree currently sings background vocals for 80’s top charting band, Loose Ends featuring Jane Eugene. She has a Master’s Degree in Human Behavior Psychology. She works alongside her brother, Reggie, who is her musical director and arranger. Sheree also manages her daughter, Mia Royale (recording artist). see performance links on the home page
Bass-Robin Bramlett has served a musical director of many plays and gospel concerts in Southern California. Robin has served as bass player and musical director for the female jazz band,” Jazz in Pink.” She has also toured with Klymaxx featuring Cheryl Cooley.
Guitar-Kat Dyson travels the world with artists such as Italian artist, Zucherro and platinum recording artist Cyndi Lauper. Before his passing, she performed, recorded and toured with Prince and the New Power Generation.
Keyboard-Aya Iwata has graced the stages with legends LTD and Slave. She currently plays for The Whispers and Loose Ends featuring Jane Eugene with Sheree. She has toured the world with countless others. When she is not touring Aya gives private piano lessons.
Drummer/MC-Trish Lash aka “Hostess with the Mostess” MC’s the hottest shows in Hollywood. Trish was a celebrity dancer who began her professional career after winning first place with her dance partner on “Puttin’ on the Hits” tv show. She plays with Cervantes Live Band, Marguaret Love Band and has had two stints with Klymaxx. It was during her second stint with the band that she met Sheree as a bandmate.
Vocalist- Nina Mac has and background vocals for Bobby Brown, Nicki Minaj, Michelle Williams and Teddy Riley. She also has lent her writing talents tremendously in the Gospel field
Vocalist- Lanesha Latimer currently tours and sings
background vocals for the world-renowned Motown
platinum selling artists Stevie Wonder and JLo.
